When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. God's excellence is in contrast to man's deficiency. God's immortality is in contrast to man's morality. God's power is in contrast to man's weakness. God's love is in contrast to man's apathy. God's compassion is in contrast to man's hardheartedness.
With all of man's inconsistencies, God still has a special place for you. He made you with a spark of divinity within you. He formed you out of heavenly matter. You are wonderfully made. God made you.
From that understanding God is due all glory, honor and praise. Our God is excellent!
