Community Benefit

I have the pleasure of chairing the Community Benefits Committee of the Maryland General Hospital. Areas of concern are developing more workforce housing for the employees, expanding access to quality health care, expanding programs within the hospital and in the community for smoking cessation, stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS, and addressing drug and alcohol abuse among school-aged youth within the community.

Please share with me other areas of concern a community hospital should address.
