God is always thinking about us, never does He turn aside His mind from us. He has His eyes on us, for it would be dreadful to exist for a moment beyond the observation of our Heavenly Father. His thoughts are always tender, loving, wide, prudent, far-reaching, and they bring us countless benefits and blessings: therefore, it is a special joy to remember them.

Because God thinks about His people, He chose them and made a covenant of grace with them. We never wander beyond the loving eyes of the Shepard. He sees our pain. He understands and observes our weariness. He knows our struggles.

Since the Lord thinks of us, I can say, "all is well with my soul."
