Nick Ashford has passed. I can tell how if you are really old school, because you would remember when we hosted Nick Ashford and Valarie Simpson at the old Hollywood Place on Route 40 during the late seventies. They performed an incredible show for the bargain-basement price of $2,500.00.

They sang and partied all night. The show was sold out. We made a few dollars and had a night we will never forget.

Extremely talented and a testimony to love within a marriage; they could sing about love because they were in love. They could express deep emotional feelings because they knew the source of those feelings.

His talent will be missed. His music legacy will never be forgotten.
