I was stunned to hear that my good friend Kenny Webster has joined the celestial stars. He was a tremendous political strategist. He represented his community and its people without giving any quarter. He talked stuff and walked with a strut. He walked that way in the State House, in City Hall and on the street corners of our city. He was comfortable anywhere he went.
I appreciated the many conversations I had with him about political matters. He was a people person and had little time for "BS." He had a high-pitched voice and would get excited as he rubbed his hands together when he talked to you. I will miss Kenny and all the good advice he gave me. I thank him for taking the time to share his wisdom with a "young turk."
